A Washington Post analysis of online contributions to the Trump/Harris campaigns shows that in most U.S. states, more people donated to Vice President Kamala Harris than to former president Donald Trump, writes Clara Ence Morse, Kevin Schaul and Azi Paybarah for The Washington Post.
Here in Delaware County, the 19082 ZIP Code covering Upper Darby, with 42,847 residents, had 318 donors contribute to the Biden and Harris campaigns, pledging $20,000 in total. There were 112 donors in the same ZIP Code for Trump, contributing $10,000.
In the 19063 ZIP Code covering Media Borough, the county seat, among its 37,716 residents, 1,877 donated $400,000 to the Biden and Harris campaigns, while 420 donated $100,000 to Trump.
In the 19083 ZIP Code covering Haverford Township, among its 36,633 residents, 1,394 pledged $200,000 to the Biden and Harris campaigns while 304 donated $40,000 to Trump.
In the 19087 ZIP Code, covering Radnor Township, 33,683 residents, 1,663 donated $500,000 to the Biden and Harris campaigns, while 350 donated $100,000 to Trump.
In the 19023 ZIP Code covering Darby Borough, among its 22,493 residents, 168 donated $10,000 to the Biden and Harris campaigns, while 54 donated $5,000 to Trump.
