A 12-foot skeleton in Springfield has developed a loyal following and even has his own Instagram page, writes Dawn Timmeney for Fox 29.
Mr. Bonejangles is a year-round attraction whose decorations change with the seasons.
On Tuesday he was wearing an Eagles outfit.
He’s the creation of the Radolovic family, who love to decorate.
Mr. Bonejangles has actually been around since September of 2021, though he took a bad fall last year during a storm.
“He went down right before Halloween. We were so sad about it,” said Nicole Radolovic.
The family bought a new one in mid-September and now Mr. Bonejangles is back on the job.
Many of his outfits are made by Nicole since she has a hard time finding a size 6 X-L.
“We did have him in a Phillies outfit. We thought that would last much longer for Red October, but we had to change him sooner than we wanted to,” Nicole said. “In summertime, we had him holding a surfboard. Last year, or year before, we had him up for back to school.”
Karlo Radolovic said a woman gave him $20 for the skeleton’s next outfit, “which was a bit odd, but, hey, they enjoy it.”
