Rutledge’s George Family Recalls Their Family Feud Experience
The George Family from Rutledge competed on “Family Feud” earlier this year and saw their performance with the rest of the nation when the shows aired last week, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.
The family contestants were Dylan Terenick, a real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway in Media; his wife, Kelsey Hansen-Terenick, a Montgomery County teacher; Aaron Kintsche, a SEPTA police officer, his wife, Alyssa Kintsche, also a Berkshire Hathaway agent; and Geoff George, owner of GSG Construction Co.
Alyssa, Geoff and Dylan are first cousins.
“We pretty much do everything together and are over at each other’s houses, multiple times on a daily basis,” laughed Alyssa.
So naturally they applied to appear together on Family Feud.
On Feb. 6, the family was flown to Atlanta for a taping.
The family members were impressed by host Steve Harvey’s humor, style of dress and professionalism.
They described the experience as “extreme fun” and “a complete adrenaline rush.”
“It’s crazy that we were lucky enough to go. I still can’t get over it,” Geoff said. “To think that someday, I can tell my kids about this adventure is really special!”
