The $1 million lottery jackpot was sold at Wawa in Limerick, the Pennsylvania Lottery has announced.

The $1 million lottery jackpot was sold at Wawa in Limerick on September 9, the Pennsylvania Lottery has announced, writes Justin Heinze for the Patch.

The lucky shopper purchased the ticket that matched all five balls drawn – 1, 2, 3, 23, 40 – to win the main $1,011,945 prize.

The Wawa on 579 North Lewis Road will also receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The lucky winner participated in the Cash 5 with Quick Cash game, in which purchasers choose five numbers from 1 to 43.
