Enjoy These Immersive Fall Experiences Here in Delaware County
This time of year there are immersive fall experiences in Delaware County for families to be out in nature and to experience the arts, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.
The annual Fall Festival at Newlin Grist Mill in Glen Mills takes place today, Sept. 21, 10 AM to 4 PM.
The festival features hands-on activities for kids, historic re-enactments, hayrides, archaeological demonstrations and plenty of vendors selling goods at the Colonial Market. Locally made beer and wine is available at the Tavern.
Pumpkinland at Linvilla Orchards in Media is now open and ready to greet families. It will remain open through Nov. 3.
Beyond pick-your-own apples, fishing, apple blasters, corn mazes, train rides and hayrides, there are pumpkin monoliths, larger-than-life figures and scarecrows.
The Media Theatre on State Street in Media is hosting an immersive performance of Sleeping Beauty, featuring a dazzling light show on Oct. 22.
The traveling performance from Fever’s “We Call It Ballet” is stopping in more than a dozen cities, including Media.
World-class performers use expressive storytelling, dancing, glittering costumes, ethereal grace and a stunning lights display to tell the story of Sleeping Beauty.
