Ariana Ramsey, who will compete in Women’s Rugby Sevens, grew up in Bridgeport and attended Upper Merion High School. This will be her second appearance at the prestigious competition.

In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she was part of the U.S. Women’s Rugby Sevens national team that came sixth. Ramsey only started playing rugby in her sophomore year of high school, but her previous experience in field hockey, wrestling, and track made the transition easier.

Ashley Sessa is an Episcopal Academy graduate from Schwenksville who has been playing field hockey since early childhood. In 2021, she became one of only three players ever to be selected at age 16 to the U.S. Women’s National Field Hockey team.
