Sprouts Farmers Market will be opening a new store at Roosevelt Mall and Quartermaster Plaza, respectively, later this month, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The two new Sprouts Farmers Market locations are the latest as the grocer continues to grow its presence in the region.

The 24,000-square-foot Sprouts store opening at the Roosevelt Mall in Northeast Philadelphia is set to open on June 14.

Meanwhile, the location at the Quartermaster Plaza in South Philadelphia, which will be taking up 25,200 square feet, is scheduled to open on June 21.

Sprouts plans to open yet another Philly location sometime next year, which is planned to be located at the Rivermark Northern Liberties, a new development at the former Festival Pier site on Columbus Boulevard.

“When we entered this area [in 2018], the company was amazed at the activation,” Dan Croce, Sprouts senior vice president of real estate and new store development, told the Philadelphia Business Journal last year. “The fact we’ve been here for five years and we’re going to parachute another seven or eight stores here over the next couple years, I think it echoes how we feel about it.”

Sprouts specializes in fresh, organic food with an emphasis on produce.
