Director of Healthcare Services

Dunwoody Village is seeking a Director of Healthcare Services who will think and act strategically, employ innovative solutions, build relationships, use sound business practices and mentor and empower team members to provide the highest quality of care for its residents.

Reporting directly to the President and CEO, this position is responsible for all aspects of health and wellness including skilled nursing, personal care, and outpatient services. 

Candidates should have thorough knowledge of large, complex healthcare environments and the continuum of care, and be licensed as an NHA in the state of PA.

This is an interesting and exciting opportunity to join an executive team to lead strategic planning and shape the future of an established and well recognized organization. The candidate must be familiar with applicable laws and government regulations related to long-term healthcare. 

A successful incumbent will perform the following:

A successful incumbent will have the following experience/education/credentials/skills:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience as an administrator healthcare with experience in a CCRC strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Full Time Groundskeeper

Dunwoody Village is seeking a full-time groundskeeper to work a 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM shift.

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the following:

  • Mulching, fertilizing, weeding, planting, pruning, shoveling, as well as snow, leaf, and litter removal on the property.
  • Operation of landscape equipment and installation of seasonal decorations.
  • Must have a valid PA driver’s license to drive equipment and operated the truck with a snowplow during winter weather.
  • Various other duties as assigned by the Grounds Manager and Supervisor

Position Requirements: 

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions including on call rotation for emergency situations and snow/ice removal during inclement weather. 
  • The ability to walk, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, and the ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, 50+ lbs.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old in order to use equipment on property.

Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs)

Dunwoody Village is seeking dedicated and caring LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join its team for a Part-Time 3 PM to 11:30 PM Weekend Shift. Those hired will receive a $5,000 sign on bonus paid during their first year of employment. 

Part Time Nurses should be able to participate in a holiday rotation, and understand that they may be required to work on any of the various units. 

Overall, LPNs would provide professional supportive care to the residents of Dunwoody Village who reside in the Skilled, Personal Care, Memory Support, or Rehab areas. They will be responsible for the evaluation and assessment of the physical, mental, and psycho-social needs of the resident to determine if further professional intervention is appropriate.

Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a PA licensed Practical Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) with current CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills
  • Point Click Care experience
