Richboro made number 9 on the list due to a high percentage of households collecting Social Security, at 42.1 percent and about 35.3 percent drawing from retirement income.
The average home value for the Bucks County town as of February 2023 was $604,985.
Other towns on the list included Northampton County’s Freemansburg at no. 18, which has over 50 percent of households collecting social security, and North Caldwell, New Jersey at number 13.
The town that made number 1 on the list of the best suburbs in the U.S. for retirees was Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
More than 58 percent of households are collecting social security, and another 51.4 percent are using retirement income.
