6 Delaware County High Schools Rank in Top 50 in Pennsylvania
Radnor High School continues to rank high among the best public schools in Pennsylvania, one of six Delaware County high schools.
According to Niche.com, Radnor High placed third in the state. According to state test scores, 89 percent of its 1,165 students are proficient in math, with 92 percent proficient in reading. It received an overall A+ grade but did earn a B+ in Administration and Diversity.
In the top 50 for the state, the next best public high schools from Delaware County were:
- Garnet Valley High School ranks 17th in the state, with an 84 percent proficiency in math and 87 percent in reading.
- Strath Haven High School ranks 18th, with 74 percent of students proficient in math and 88 percent in reading.
- Haverford Senior High School ranked 33rd best in the state, with 83 percent of students proficient in math and 90 percent proficient in reading.
- Marple Newtown High School ranked 38th, with 71 percent of students proficient in math and 82 percent in reading.
- Springfield High School ranked 42nd best. Its students were 92 percent proficient in math and 91 percent in reading.
