Bill Moss of Ridley was shocked twice with high voltages of electricity.

Medical marijuana was too expensive to help with the pain and bout of Parkinson’s afterwards, so he worked out a hemp-derived product that did the trick.

Moss is the owner of Euphoria Integrated Health and Wellness in Holmes, writes Kathleen E. Carey for the Daily Times.

The secret is terpenes, aromatic compounds found in many plants.

“You follow the terpenes, which is actually the molecular structure of the plant. You can guide yourself to heath,” he said.

Moss started his business three years ago in his backyard during COVID.

For 20 years, he had worked as a Level 4 mill operator and internal fireman until his retirement last month. That’s where he got his electrical shocks.

“My hands don’t work,” Moss said. “You can’t rely on me to shut down the 2,000-pound steam vessel. That’s why I started the business, because medication wise, medical cannabis was so expensive.”

Developing his own line of cannabinoid products was not about getting high. It was about treating a medical need and optimizing health.

His products, used appropriately, can treat vision problems, Parkinson’s, anxiety, and can help cancer patients with appetite and pain.
