New York Post: Jason Kelce Comment Fuels More Debate About His Retirement
Jason Kelce’s retirement continues to be the topic of speculation, especially after a new comment from the Philadelphia Eagle, caught on TikTok, writes Jenna Lemoncelli for The New York Post.
Jason Kelce’s retirement rumors have circled 36-year-old Kelce since he reportedly told his teammates in the locker room after Philadelphia’s wild-card loss to the Buccaneers on Jan. 15 that he would be retiring.
This past weekend, he was mingling with Eagles fans at the 2024 Pro Bowl when someone said, “Please don’t retire, for the love of football, please don’t.”
Kelce’s response was recorded in a TikTok video posted by @rossitakes.
The 13-year veteran seemed to say, “I’m gonna try not to.”
Kelce has said he will announce his future plans when the time is right.
His brother Travis, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, weighed in on the issue Monday during Super Bowl Opening Night festivities in Las Vegas. The Chiefs face the 49ers in the Super Bowl on Feb. 11.
“I’ll tell you what, I think it’s still up in the air whether or not he’s going to continue to play football,” Travis told 11-year-old reporter Jeremiah Fennell.
See where else Jason Kelce could end up in The New York Post.
