Jason Kelce is retiring? Travis Kelce said his brother's still got some football left in him.

Everyone’s feeding the rumor mill this week that Jason Kelce is retiring following the Philadelphia Eagles’ 32-9 loss to the Buccaneers.

Everyone except Jason Kelce and his family, writes Nika Shakhnazarova for The New York Post.

According to his brother, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, the Philadelphia Eagles center still has “some football left” in him.

“It came out that he retired, and he really didn’t say any of that,” Travis, 34, told reporters at a Friday press conference.

Not that it hasn’t been on Jason Kelce’s mind for the past few years, Travis said.

Reports started circulating that Jason Kelce told his teammate last Monday he intends to retire.

But Kelce has not announced it publicly.

“I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really make that decision; I just don’t; there’s too much emotion at the moment, there’s too much going down in the moment to really fully grasp that decision.”

Jason Kelce said when he’s ready to officially announce what’s happening in his future, “it’ll be done in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people …”
