As we head further into 2024, there is a whole crop of new restaurants offering fun culinary experiences in Montgomery County, writes Ed Williams for Main Line Today.

Here are just a few.

The Pullman Restaurant & Bar in Bryn Mawr offers an elevated speakeasy experience with romantic lighting, arched ceilings, an eye-popping blue baby grand piano, and of course lots of live music and good food.

Daniel’s Restaurant in Conshohocken is a cozy spot where you can enjoy the culinary skills of Executive Chef James Chun. Ask about the twice-cooked octopus.

The Cage Cocktail Bar, with locations in Norristown and Warrington, is a retro cocktail bar and restaurant that exudes a playful birdcage motif with a tropical green palette, light woods, and bamboo-backed bar seats.

Anchan Thai Cuisine in Bala Cynwyd offers Southeast Asian comfort food like the coconut-based tom kha gai soup, and the massaman curry and drunken noodles. Don’t forget to ask the secret to the blue color of the rice.
