McKenzie W. was recently recognized by the CCRES board for her excellent work as a behavioral health technician.

McKinzie joined the CCRES team in 2021 after gaining experience in behavioral health as a paraprofessional with the Solanco School District.

She quickly became a valued member of the CCRES and CCIU’s Home & Community Services team, providing support in the Early Intervention Verbal Behavioral classroom with a positive outlook and can-do attitude.

McKinzie has a composed demeanor, even when things around her are chaotic.  She is a quick learner and a great team player.

One of the best things McKinzie does for her students is provide them ample opportunities to learn and grow.

The students she works with make her a better person every day, she said.

She believes working with children is a privilege and something she does for herself as much as the individuals she supports.

McKinzie shared that the best part about working with children is getting to “celebrate every victory they achieve no matter how big or small, and seeing what motivates each kid, what inspires them, what calms them down, and what makes them smile.”

She puts her heart into what she does, and it couldn’t be clearer that her colleagues, students, and team love her.

Feedback from her team is consistently positive and glowing, proving how much they value McKinzie and her dedication.

McKenzie W. is a true representative of the CCRES mission to make a difference every day, and CCRES is lucky to have her! said RH recruiter Kristen Rosen.

CCRES was created in 1999 through a partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit to meet the growing need for behavioral health services for children in Chester County and as a vehicle to give back to the community.

CCRES provides professional resources, coaching, and counseling for children, families, and adults with a range of challenges, including autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, as well as intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

CCRES also provides a variety of experienced school administrators to educational agencies throughout the region, working with school districts, intermediate units, and other programs.
