Full-Time Registered Nurse
Dunwoody Village is currently seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its team for a full-time 7 AM–3:30 PM position, which includes working a weekend and holiday rotation.
This position is eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus paid during their first year of employment!
RNs provide professional, supportive care to the residents of Dunwoody Village who reside in the Skilled, Personal Care, Memory Support, or Rehab areas. They will be responsible for the evaluation and assessment of the physical, mental, and psycho-social needs of the resident to determine if further professional intervention is appropriate.

Full-Time Social Worker
Dunwoody Village is seeking a dynamic full-time Social Worker for its Skilled Nursing and Short-Term Rehabilitation departments. This position requires working a weekend rotation along with our current team of social workers.
This integral team member is responsible for completing biopsychosocial assessments and assuring comprehensive discharge plans for short-term residents.
Additional duties of a Social Worker include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining responsibility for completing required documentation, including mood and cognitive assessments, and for providing excellent customer service.
- Leading care plan meetings and helping residents and their loved ones to understand their expected length of stay
- Implementing and discussing care-planned goals and interventions toward safe discharge planning
- Acting as a liaison and point person for residents and responsible parties
- Assisting with insurance case management and reports to the Director of Social Service.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work; candidates with a Master’s Degree are also encouraged to apply
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar setting and population
- Working knowledge of Point Click Care and Microsoft Office – including Word and Outlook.
- Ability and keen desire to work effectively in a team-based setting.
- Willingness/desire to provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers

Full-Time Activities Assistant
Over 3,000 recreation programs are offered every year at Dunwoody Village with the goal of keeping its residents cognitively, emotionally, and socially fulfilled. The Recreation Staff engages residents to realize their full potential through a wide variety of leisure activities.
The Recreation Assistant is responsible for developing and implementing both group and individual recreation programs.
Additional duties include:
- Plan, develop, and implement group recreation programs such as exercise class, word games, horticulture, arts and crafts etc.
- Inform residents of daily events and escort residents to and from group programs.
- Identify the individual abilities of residents and plan recreation programs to accommodate those abilities.
- Maintain a daily record of resident’s participation in group and individual programs.
- Assist the Manager in evaluating the effectiveness of the program and the participation levels of residents.
To be considered for the job, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be able to work weekend and holiday rotation
- High School graduate
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Office, Facetime, and iTunes
- Able to read aloud to a group and or individual
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Organization and time management skills
- Able to work both independently and with supervision
- Cheerfulness, positive attitude, and the ability to motivate people.
- Genuine liking and respect for the elderly, physically and cognitively impaired.
While relevant experience in Long Term Care or the Recreation Field is preferred, Dunwoody will train motivated persons with a desire to work with older adults.
