The Philadelphia Eagles second-holiday album is not only topping the charts, it’s also doing some immense good for charity.

“A Philly Special Christmas Special” has earned $2.5 million for charity, writes Kristin Hunt for Philly Voice.

The producers of the album are taking suggestions on social media on which local charities should receive those earnings.

Two charities are already guaranteed funds from the album sales.  Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center were chosen back in October.

CHOP will use its portion to pay for a pop-up toy store so caregivers of sick children can shop for free toys.

The Crisis Center will use its funds for its annual toy drive.

Other beneficiaries will be announced once the album’s final 2023 sales are added up.

The Eagles album is a collection of Christmas songs performed by Eagles Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata, Lane Johnson, and some guest artists. It’s the second offering from the trio, which recorded “A Philly Special Christmas” in 2022 to much success.

This year’s holiday project has already earned double the amount of last year’s novelty album.

Find out what other charities are being suggested so far on social media for the Eagle’s second Christmas album in the Philly Voice.
