Brunch is a popular weekend diversion that promises a variety of good food and good times with friends and family.

Philadelphia has no shortage of quality places to fill your brunch cravings, including one stand-out in Springfield Township, writes Betty Nelson for Town & Tourist.

Tavola Restaurant & Bar, located at the Springfield Country Club at 400 Sproul Road, placed 15^th on a list of 17 best bottomless brunch spots.

Unique to Tavola was the fact it was one of only two restaurants outside Philadelphia to make the list. The other was Southern Cross Kitchen located in Conshohocken. It placed 17^th.

Tavola is family-friendly and offers a variety of Italian cuisine using fresh ingredients sourced from local farms and from on-site vegetable and herb gardens.

You’ll find roasted garlic hummus, grilled chicken, and shrimp cocktails among the brunch options.  

It has a one-of-a-kind outdoor bar and patio for al fresco dining, along with golf course views, fire pits, lounges, and palm trees, while acoustic music plays in the background. There’s even a misting system for hot days and heat lamps for cold.

The overall effect is a fun and peaceful dining and bard experience in a distinctive and upscale-casual atmosphere.
