Chichester dominated from start to finish in an imposing 31-7 win over Interboro in Pennsylvania high school football on Oct. 6.

Neither team dominated early as the two squads struggled evenly to a 7-7 tie through the first quarter.

Defense ruled the second quarter as the Eagles and the Buccaneers were both scoreless.

The third quarter gave Chichester a 29-7 lead over Interboro.

The Eagles got the better of the final-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 2-0 edge.

Marple Newtown overwhelms Haverford

Marple Newtown left no doubt on Friday, controlling Haverford from start to finish for a 42-14 victory in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Oct. 6.

The Green Raiders had a 14-7 edge on the Cougars at the beginning of the third quarter.

Springfield broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 15-14 lead over Ridley.

The Cougars got the better of the final-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 14-8 edge.

In recent action on Sept. 22, Ridley faced off against Marple Newtown and Springfield took on Lower Merion on Sept. 23 at Lower Merion High School.

Strath Haven’s initial push dashes Garnet Valley’s hopes

Strath Haven broke in front early and tripped Garnet Valley for a 28-19 win in a Pennsylvania high school football matchup on Oct. 6.

In recent action on Sept. 22, Garnet Valley faced off against The Haverford and Strath Haven took on Upper Darby on Sept. 22 at Upper Darby High School.
