Garnet Valley earns narrow win over The Haverford

Garnet Valley posted a narrow 28-23 win over The Haverford on Sept. 22 in Pennsylvania football action.

Both teams were shutout in the first quarter.

The Fords moved ahead by earning a 10-7 advantage over the Jaguars at the end of the second quarter.

The scoreboard showed The Haverford with a 16-14 lead over Garnet Valley heading into the third quarter.

A 14-7 scoring edge in the fourth quarter fueled the Jaguars’ defeat of the Fords.

In recent action on Sept. 14, Garnet Valley faced off against Haverford and The Haverford took on La Salle on Sept. 14 at La Salle.
