Kitchen Operations Manager
This manager will be responsible for hiring, scheduling, and supervising all servers and utility staff, lead all staff in ensuring the sanitation tasks are completed before, during, and after each shift, and serve as a leader and mentor to all staff members in the department.
Dunwoody Village’s dining operation has been completely expanded and renovated to include two full kitchens, dish rooms, and dining rooms, all of which have state-of-the-art equipment and furnishings for our residents, guests, and staff. The schedule for this position will normally be 11 AM-7 PM but, as an exempt level management position, you will be asked to change your days and shift periodically if there are events or other departmental needs.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- A minimum of 4 years experience in a dining-related supervisory/managerial role
- A strong desire to provide exceptional dining services to older adults
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience handling departmental payroll and scheduling (Ceridian Dayforce)
- Experience in Department of Health regulations, including temp logs, food storage, and cleanliness.
- Long-term care experience is strongly preferred but not necessary
- Excellent communication skills as you will interact with residents, family members, and all levels of management
- Comfortable with interviewing potential new staff members
- RAMP and/or ServSafe certification is strongly preferred
- Experience with point-of-service systems
- Serve as the Dining Services representative at the monthly Safety Committee Meeting
- This job requires working varied shifts – including some nights and some weekends, and participating in a holiday rotation

Dietician, Part-Time
Dunwoody Village seeks a part-time dietician for its dietician team.
This position would require working 48 hours per pay period.
This role is responsible for the ongoing therapeutic nutritional care to residents in the Care Center.
As a valued member of the Dining Services department, the Dietician will:
- Evaluate and assess the nutrition status of patients and screen patients for nutritional risk in accordance with established department protocols and standards
- Plan and initiate medical nutrition therapy to patients if indicated by patient requirements and clinical protocol
- Educate and counsel patients and families on nutritional issues, either individually or in groups
- Communicate individual nutritional care plans to other health care providers as a member of a health care team
- Attend daily team meetings and implement nutrition interventions as requirements
- Attend weekly meetings to assess high-risk residents
- Attend wound rounds; confer with interdisciplinary team on interventions to improve wound outcomes
- Maintain professional growth and development through completion of required departmental competencies.
- Analyze menus for potential allergens or restriction categories
- Act as technology liaison for dietitians’ office
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve resident care
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Sous Chef, Full Time
Dunwoody Village is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic SOUS CHEF to join its talented team.
The Sous Chef applicant should bring their passion for great food, teamwork, and culinary experience to Dunwoody’s fine dining restaurants.
The Sous Chef will report directly to the Executive Chef but will work closely with all members of the Dining Services team to ensure quality food and exceptional service are delivered to all residents, visitors, and staff of Dunwoody Village.
The sous chef will work in our brand-new state-of-the-art kitchens and beautiful dining room venues.
The Sous Chef will be responsible for:
- Managing daily kitchen production and food preparation for on-time service of resident and staff meals
- Directing the preparation and service accuracy for all forecasted menu items to include recipes, proper food handling, food safety, food quality, diet restrictions, and utilizing production forecasts
- Scheduling, training, and management of all culinary and utility staff. The sous chef will be in charge of all culinary functions in the chef’s absence, including staffing, food production, utility, and kitchen sanitation.
- Oversees the organization and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchen, storage areas, and loading dock
What you will need:
- Minimum of 5 years of full-service experience
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory and coaching experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Sous Chef experience
- Healthcare experience is recommended but not required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred + graduate of a certified culinary program or college preferred
- Ability to work a weekend and holiday rotation.
