Jason Kelce Documentary Skyrockets to Top of Amazon Prime Video
“Kelce,” the locally-produced documentary on Eagles Center Jason Kelce, was released Monday night and within a few hours hit the No. 1 slot in the United States on Amazon’s Prime Video, writes Gustav Elvin for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The 9.14 Pictures documentary, from Cardinal O’Hara graduate Sheena Joyce and Philadelphian Don Argott, covered Kelce’s 2022-23 season in which he contemplated retirement but went on to lead the Eagles in a Super Bowl LVII appearance.
The Kelce documentary has received rave reviews. It provides an all-access look at Kelce, his family, and the Eagles.
Former Eagle Connor Barwin is an executive producer of the film.
“He did not change for the cameras; he was authentic to himself,” said Barwin.
Joyce, a Delaware County native, grew up in a family of huge Eagles fans. In fact, she spent summers with her dad at the Eagles training camp at West Chester University.
“Having a relationship with anyone on the team is kind of amazing, but to have that person be Jason Kelce and be able to call him a friend, is an unbelievable privilege that I would have never dreamed of sitting in my bedroom in Aston,: Joyce said.
