Eagles-themed boudoir photos are popular with some women these days as an expression of empowerment.

Allison Cawley of Havertown wore a Kelly green Jalen Hurts jersey as part of a personal, Eagles-themed boudoir shoot.

The 37-year-old, a huge Eagles fan, was celebrating losing 70 pounds, writes Beatrice Forman for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Wearing an Eagles jersey and Eagles-themed boudoir photos is in right now for Philadelphia-area women who are looking for empowerment.

“I want to feel happy and confident in myself again,” said Cawley.  “And if I’m doing something true to myself, I’m in Eagles gear from January through December. Why not wear a jersey here?”

Eagles jerseys carry happy memories of past championships and symbolize the city’s grit.

For women looking to boudoir for power, the jersey also helps them feel a little sexier and more comfortable.

Cawley’s shoot took place with stylist Gabriella Lopez and photographer Nia Allen.

She brought midnight green lingerie and a lacy, red nightgown to go with the jersey, her good luck charm.

Hurts is “a leader, he’s confident,” Cawley explained. “He represents the things I want to bring into the shoot.”

She started off timidly but quickly gained confidence.

Later, on reviewing the photos, “It doesn’t look like me!” Cawley said. “They’re glamour shots.”
