3 Delaware County Colleges Rank Well on Top US College List

2 Delaware County Colleges made a blogger's list of schools inching up toward $100,000 tuitions.

Three Delaware County colleges continue to rank well on best college lists with the three showing up most recently on a 2023 100 best colleges in America list produced by Stacker.

The Stacker list was compiled using Niche 2023 rankings based on academics, admissions, financial aid, and student life.

Tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, acceptance rates, and graduation rate all played into the ranking.

Swarthmore College placed 31st out of 100.

It has an undergraduate enrollment of 1,437, a 9 percent acceptance rate, and a 97 percent graduation rate. 

There is an 85 percent two-year employment rate for graduates, who see median earnings of $56,700 over six years.

Haverford College placed 51st on the list.

It has an undergraduate enrollment of 1,419, an 18 percent acceptance rate, and a 93 percent graduation rate. 

There is a 92 percent two-year employment rate for graduates, who see median earnings of $60,700 over six years.

Villanova University placed 69th out of 100. 

It has an undergraduate enrollment of 6,793, a 31 percent acceptance rate, and a 92 percent graduation rate.

There is a 95 percent two-year employment rate for graduates, who see median earnings of $77,900 over six years.
