There are five Delaware County companies that made a list of the top 100 largest public companies headquartered in the Philadelphia region.

Size is based on revenue generated. The list was researched and compiled by Todd Romero for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Lincoln National Corp. In Radnor showed up as the fourth largest in the region, with $18.93 billion in 2022 revenue and $334.22 billion in assets.

Lincoln National operates a variety of investment and management businesses.

Avantor Inc. In. Radnor was 15^th. It had $7.51 billion in 2022 revenue and $13.46 billion in assets.

Avantor is a chemical and materials company and a global provider of products and services to biopharma, hethercare, education and government and advanced technologies industries.

Teleflex Inc. in Wayne was the 34th largest publicly-traded company.  It generated revenue of $2.79 billion in 2022 and has assets of $6.93 billion.

Teleflex is a global provider of specialty medical devices.

Essential Utilities in Bryn Mawr was listed as 37^th.  Its 2022 revenue was $2.29 billion it has assets of $15.72 billion.

Aclaris Therapeutics Inc. in Wayne squeaked in at 100th.  It generated $29.75 million in revenue for 2022 and has assets of $24. million.

Aclaris is a biopharmaceutical company.
