Licensed Practical Nurse

Dunwoody Village is seeking dedicated and caring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its team for a Full Time 11 PM to 7:30 AM position.

Dunwoody Village has new starting rates for all positions and will pay for experience!

This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid during their first year of employment.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as an LPN in Long Term Care, Rehab, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing.

All applicants interested in full-time must be available to work within a weekend and holiday rotation.

Primary nursing duties include:

  • Provide exceptional resident care according to the Plan of Care
  • Provide a safe environment for residents
  • Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements (utilizing Point Click Care)
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and computer skills

Full-Time Server

Dunwoody Village is seeking compassionate individuals to fill a full-time server position.

All applicants must be available to work 11 AM to 7 PM during the week. Must also be available to work a holiday rotation and weekends.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of food handling and safety experience in a retirement community, restaurant, country club, or other food service setting.

Candidates must be outgoing, enthusiastic individuals who are able to perform a variety of tasks in the food operation including:

  • Setting up meals on tray line or in the HearthSide, ensuring proper portioning of food served to residents and employees;
  • Assembling cold foods, salads, desserts, and condiments; uses safe food handling techniques, labels, dates, wraps, and stores all food appropriately; sets up the HearthSide for lunch and cleans up after lunch is completed.

All job offers are contingent upon a successful criminal background check, drug screen, COVID-19 vaccination with the applicable booster, Influenza vaccine, and two successful references.

Maintenance Mechanic

Dunwoody Village has a career opportunity available as a full-time Maintenance Mechanic — specializing in IT.

The successful candidate will have 2 years of related maintenance/IT experience to provide support to residents and staff with any technical difficulties that may arise.

Dunwoody Village is looking for someone who enjoys working with older adults and is flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and conscientious.

Qualified candidates must have a valid PA driver’s license and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM but the successful candidate must be willing to work on-call during inclement weather to assist with snow/ice removal or for emergency situations. Additional duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist residents and staff with computer and printer issues.
  • Set up resident landline phones, televisions, cable boxes as well as other equipment including wall mounts. Also diagnose and resolve internet, wifi, and cable problems.
  • Communicate /work with vendors (i.e. Comcast, Inviacom) as needed to diagnose and resolve communications issues; sometimes helping residents jointly.
  • Maintaining Captel Caption phone for residents with hearing impairment
  • Troubleshoot issues with STANLEY Healthcare’s Arial Events Management, Notification, and Reporting Platform – portable pendants, call stations fire panel access control, etc.
