The City Ave. District is holding a Mar. 8 “Empower Hour” discussion at the 6abc studio, 4100 City Line Avenue.

One hundred percent of the $25 registration fee will be donated to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. The Bala Cynwyd nonprofit that supports women diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as their caregivers.

Each year, it reaches upward of 70,000 people in need of information and encouragement.

Presenters are Alicia Vitarelli, 6abc co-anchor, and Melissa Grimm, Principal, Grimm & Grove communications, Philadelphia.

Together, they will be speaking on Developing Your Personal Story, focusing on the power of self-narrative and its effect on success. Their aim is to leave attendees with a heightened awareness of how to develop, connect to, and harness the impact of self-commentary.

The Empower Hour begins at 8:30 AM with check-in and networking. The formal conversation begins at 9:00 AM.

Registrations are being taken online at Eventbrite.
