Shake Shack Officially Opens Today, Dec. 27, in Springfield

Shake Shack Springfield opens at 11 AM today, Dec. 27, at 950 Baltimore Pike. It is the ninth Shake Shack location in Pennsylvania.

To celebrate opening day, the first 100 guests visiting the popular New York-based burger chain will receive Shake Shack-branded beanies and ‘Delco’ Shake Shack-branded stickers.

Shake Shack Springfield will also donate $1 for every burger or sandwich sold on opening day to Philabundance.

Shake Shack serves made-to-order Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken, hand-spun milkshakes, house-made lemonades, beer, wine, and more.

The new store will be open Sunday through Thursday, 11 AM. to 9 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 10 PM.

Guests can order pick up via app or web starting on opening day and local area delivery will be available beginning Tuesday, Jan. 3.

The original Shake Shack opened 2004 in New York City’s Madison Square Park and has expanded to more than 400 locations, including 260 in 32 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

It is considered a cult-brand favorite that also invests in the community.

It also has more than 140 international locations across London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Mexico City, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul and more.
