Philadelphia Union fans will quickly remind you that their Philadelphia sports team is also doing extremely well.

“With the Eagles and the Phillies and everybody else- they seem to get the least amount of attention, but you go down to that stadium, it’s a whole different story- the energy down there is unreal,” said Matthew Bongiorno of Aston.

After all, the Union is unbeaten at Subaru Park in Chester this year and, with its win Sunday against New York City FC-Montreal, it’s headed to the conference finals, reports Katherine Scott for 6abc.

Philadelphia Union head coach Jim Curtin appreciates the support.

“It’s great to see all the love that we’re getting in this crowd right now. You look in the crowd and lot of local Philly celebrities now, and this is kind of the place to be, which has been awesome to see,” Curtin said.

Delaware County sports enthusiasts couldn’t be happier that the Philadelphia sports teams are firing on all cylinders.

“It’s huge for the city. Philly sports, it’s getting up there,” said Chris Pinero of Folsom.

“You’re getting up in the morning and going to work. Everyone’s a lot happier, I know that,” said TJ Walters of Trainer.
