Lisi Lerch, the jewelry and accessories designer entrepreneur from Newtown Square has opened her first store, Lisi Lerch Bungalow, in Villanova, writes Diane Oliva for Main Line Tonight.

 “I never intended to have a brick-and-mortar store. But we moved the company’s offices from my house to Villanova. I’m a little nervous about moving out of my house because I am the CEO of my business and the CEO of my family,” Lerch says.

Once the offices were set up, she realized she needed a store in the front to help offset the rent.

Earlier this year, she launched LibbyKat,  a brand of apparel and footwear for teens and young adults, all priced under $100.

It’s named for her two daughters, Libby and Katherine and was a response to Libby needing something to wear while rushing sororities at Clemson.

Lerch has a wide spectrum of customers, including these days, many celebrities.

Kathy Hilton, multiple “Real Housewives” and most Main Line women own at least one Lisi Lerch piece of jewelry, a hat or a bag these days.

“We send a lot of jewelry to celebrities and love seeing things on the red carpet,” Lerch says.
