Behavior Health Technician: $2,000 sign-on bonus
The Behavior Health Technician (BHT) position is a field employee position providing one-to-one emotional and behavioral interventions to children/adolescents in need of Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS).
It provides excellent experience after graduation to start a career making a difference every day working with individuals with special needs. Further, it is an apt opportunity for retirees or professionals amid a career change. It is a flexi-time opportunity to work with children in schools, homes, and the community.
A BHT provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents with behavior disorders in the school, home, and community setting based on medical needs of the client. The role provides prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills. BHT professionals work toward the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Behavior Analyst (Master’s Level Clinician).
An additional responsibility is the collection of daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
Qualified candidates will have a high-school diploma or equivalency. Experience working with children is preferred.

Behavior Consultant/Behavior Analyst/BCBA: Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus
These roles write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders that include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
These behaviorist professionals also assist in developing adaptive skills for a diagnosed child to take a more positive role in the school, home, and community setting.
The BC/BA/BCBA staff provides prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and/or school; train the Behavior Health Technicians (BHTs) on appropriate therapeutic interventions; and writes Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).
The casework usually encompasses 2–3 hours per week for each client family (based on medical necessity). Caseload can comprise multiple clients.

Mobile Therapist (MT): Up to $1,500 sign-on bonus
Mobile Therapists provide individual and family psychotherapy in home environments; insight into family dynamics and provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the client to take a more positive role in the family; and clinical progress notes and development of a psychotherapy plan.
The role requires work after-school/early evening hours, usually with one-to-two hours per week for each client’s family. It further requires an ability to build a caseload of multiple clients.
