Pennsylvania Institute of Technology Hires New Development Director

The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in Media announces it has hired Jeannette Barr as its new Director of Development.

Jeannette’s hire marks a new opportunity for growth within the College, which is establishing a Development department.

The department will amplify the work being done at the college to the outside community.

Jeannette brings a wealth of experience spanning a 25-year career in nonprofit management.

She most recently served as the PMI Educational Foundation Executive Director at the Project Management Institute in Newtown Square.

While at PMI, Jeannette oversaw all foundation activities and strategic direction for programming, fundraising, grantmaking, budgeting, finance, legal, gifting, and marketing.

Her impressive background also includes substantial contributions made while managing development efforts within the American Association for Cancer Research,  Boy Scouts of America Chester County Council, United Way of Chester County, and Casa Youth Advocates.

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is a private non-profit college that offers an education for those seeking carer development and advancement or who seek out college transfer opportunities, or are just looking for personal growth.

Students can earn professional certificates, associate degrees in more than 13 careers and fields of study and participate in two bachelor degree programs.
