Paying for higher education is a daunting task for many families and it shouldn’t prevent you from reaching your education and career goals.

“You guys are giving me another chance to follow my dreams and become a nurse! I would not be able to do it without financial aid. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for believing in me!!!!!!” wrote a P.I.T. student in a Pennsylvania Institute of Technology financial aid office.

The Financial Aid Office at the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology (P.I.T.) in Media stands ready to offer whatever resources are available to help all qualified student pay for their education and achieve success at the school.

The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is a private non-profit college offering an education for career development and advancement, college transfer opportunities, and personal growth.

Here’s what the financial aid staff at P.I.T. will do for you:

  • They will guide you through the financial aid process from start to finish.
  • As soon as students enroll and register to join P.I.T., they are automatically assigned a Financial Aid Advisor to assist them throughout their time at P.I.T.
  • After enrollment, their Financial Aid Advisor immediately reaches out to discuss options on paying for their tuition.
  • If a student needs assistance in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or filing out any additional financial aid documents, they can be assisted in person, via Zoom, text, e-mail, or on the phone.

Chances are excellent that students will qualify for financial aid. More than 92 percent of P.I.T. students receive financial aid in some form — whether grants, loans, or work-study.

Beyond financial aid, P.I.T. also offers scholarships, student payment plan options, and has a list of alternative lenders students can apply to as well.

P.I.T.’s mission is student success and the Financial Aid Office will continue to help in every step of the way until graduation!

“At one point in my life, I didn’t think that I would be able to go back to school because of my financial aid circumstance but P.I.T. gave me a second chance!” the student wrote.

Students enrolled at P.I.T. have access to two-year associate degrees, two one-year career certificate courses and two Bachelor degree programs.
