The following positions are available.

Director of Nursing

Dunwoody Village has a rare opportunity for a Director of Nursing (DON).

The Director of Nursing administers the nursing program to maintain standards of resident care and advises medical staff, department heads, and leadership team members on matters related to nursing services.

He or she directs the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care for residents on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of five years of skilled care/long-term rehab experience with excellent assessment and clinical skills; a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role + ability to hold employees accountable for maintaining the highest levels of nursing professionalism.

They must be a  PA licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current CPR certification; someone with a strong working knowledge of DOH regulations; and a strong working knowledge of incident reports, CPs, and admission protocols and the ability and desire to ensure that team members are fully knowledgeable in the same.

The ability to effectively and efficiently work within a Point Click Care medical records system is strongly preferred.

Groundskeeper

The Groundskeeper is responsible for mulching, fertilizing, weeding, planting, pruning, shoveling, as well as snow, leaf, and litter removal on the property.

They will be operating landscaping equipment and installing seasonal decorations.

The candidate must have a valid PA driver’s license to drive equipment and operate a truck with a snowplow during winter weather.

They are also responsible for various other duties as assigned by the Grounds Manager and Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting; a willingness to work in all weather conditions; the ability to walk, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, and the ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, 50+ lbs.; excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; the ability to relate to others; strong organizational and time-management skills.

The candidate must be at least 18 years old in order to use the equipment on the property.

RN Supervisor

This is a part-time position, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., that includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid within the first 6 months of employment.

Eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills; a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience as a primary role; a PA licensed RN with current CPR certification.

All offers of the position are contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, and two successfully completed references.
