Energy Transfer has donated $75,000 to support the hurricane relief efforts of the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army in communities devastated by Hurricane Ida.

Based in Dallas, Energy Transfer operates the Marcus Hook Industrial Complex, a natural gas liquids processing facility, and has nearly 3,000 miles of pipeline infrastructure and gathering systems located in Pennsylvania.

Energy Transfer donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross and $25,000 to The Salvation Army to help them meet the immediate needs of those impacted by Hurricane Ida by providing basic necessities such as food and shelter, as well as long-term support.

“This storm devastated so many communities and families,” said Chris Curia, Executive Vice President of Energy Transfer. “We are pleased to be able to provide additional support to these organizations for the critical work and long-term support they are doing to help so many.

“Energy Transfer is a long-time supporter of both the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army, not only financially, but also through employee volunteer efforts and blood drives. We believe in the missions of these organizations and so greatly appreciate the work they do to help people recover and rebuild in their time of need.”
