Pennsylvania COVID-19 Cases Still Dropping for Friday, June 18

No COVID-19 county or municipal statistics, including the number of new cases and deaths, were available for Friday, June 18 from the Chester County Health Department.

As of June 17, the health department was reporting a total of 49,843 cases.

No new COVID-19-related deaths were reported on June 17. Total fatalities for Delaware County remain at 1,455, according to the Chester County Health Department.

Of those, 839 were in long-term care facilities and personal care homes.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of noon, June 18, there were 272 new cases statewide. Total cases now number 1,209,997.

The state is reporting 14 deaths for Friday, June 18. Total deaths are 27,560.
