The vacant Charlie's Hamburgers building will soon house Delco Steaks.

Delco Steaks in Broomall is opening a second location at the former Charlie’s Hamburgers site in Folsom, which will also include “Delco Land Mini Golf” behind the new steak shop at 336 Kedron Ave., writes Peg DeGrass for DailyTimes.

The new shop and golf course will open in April.

Charlies Hamburgers operated for 33 years at the location before moving in 2019 down the street to  237 E. MacDade Blvd.

Delco Steaks, owned by Nick Reynolds and John McKenzie, with Steve Reynolds as COO, decided to lease the now-vacant Charlie Hamburgers building. All three are from Marple Newtown.

“Charlie’s has always been an iconic landmark in Delco and its former building was just sitting there so we had to have it. Who doesn’t like cheesesteaks, milkshakes and mini golf?” Steve Reynolds stated.

Delco Steaks opened last July. With its focus on cheesesteaks, steaks, cheeseburgers and milkshakes, it quickly had a large following.

The Folsom store will have a separate creamery window for ice cream and milk shake orders.

A drive-thru Delco Steaks shop is planned in the summer in Upper Providence with a Delco Pizza restaurant next door.
