Natalie Alsis, Human Resources Supervisor at Dunwoody Village in Newtown Square, has recently completed the 2020-21 Fellows in Leadership program provided by the LeadingAgePA Foundation.

LeadingAgePA, a statewide association of not-for-profit providers of long-term care services across Pennsylvania, offers the Fellows in Leadership program to a select class of rising leaders who work for member organizations. Through this experience, Fellows not only explore the components of leadership required to transform the future of aging services, but they also acquire valuable advocacy techniques to utilize on behalf of the people they serve.

As a member of the Class of 2020-21, Alsis and approximately 15 other participants from across Pennsylvania attended four sessions, most of which were held virtually. In between the quarterly sessions, participants completed projects, both individually and collaboratively.

“Dunwoody Village could not be prouder of Natalie Alsis’ participation in the Leading Age Fellows program,” said Curt Sayers, Dunwoody’s Human Resources Director. “Natalie’s commitment to our organization and to her own personal leadership development serve as a hallmark of our success. During the Fellows program, Natalie was able to play a vital role with her peers by sharing her expertise and experience in human resources – with a particular emphasis on the dynamic and broadly based strategic and operational roles that HR plays within the CCRC.”

Alsis has worked for Dunwoody Village for 14 years. She is a graduate of West Chester University.
