For the first time in 30 years, a Radnor consulting firm has signed a sponsorship agreement, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

They’ve selected PGA Tour player Steve Stricker,

CRA Inc., an executive advisory and consulting firm, signed a three-year agreement with Stricker.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Stricker, captain of this year’s U.S. Ryder Cup team, will be a PGA brand ambassador for CRA’s Admired Leadership Institute. The sponsorship also involves a recently launched online leadership course.

The CRA Admired Leadership Institute is a week-long program instructing emerging leaders on the art of leadership.

“Placing the Admired Leadership logo on an athlete’s uniform is no small matter and we wanted to create a partnership with an athlete as extraordinary as the leaders we study and attempt to emulate,” said Scott Baker, chief marketing director for Admired Leadership.

“We believe Steve will be a spectacular spokesperson for our firm and the digital course we are now introducing to a larger audience.”

Stricker has won 12 PGA Tours and five additional PGA Tour Champions wins. He competes in both.
