Pandemic Took Out Media’s Halloween Costume Parade But Media Theatre Has a Solution
The Media Theatre is offering an alternative to the cancelled 56th annual costume parade in Media.
The theatre is teaming up with Media Borough and the Media Business Authority for “Spooktacular! A Virtual Halloween Party,” writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.
People can submit a photo or video dressed in their costume of choice, individually, or in a group.
People are invited to sing a song or recite some lines that go along with their character in a video format.
Deadline is Sunday, Oct. 25. All ages are invited.
Email photos to Patrick Ward here or here. Include your name and email.
Video submissions should be no longer than 60 seconds. Use the highest quality image and say your name in the club. You can submit the video using this Google Drive link.
The virtual Halloween parade will air online on the Media Theatre website and Facebook pages starting at 1 p.m. Halloween day, Oct. 31, and will remain there for a few days.
Efforts will be made to also post it on Media Business Authority sites, including VisitMediaPA.
More information about Media Theatre’s virtual Halloween can be found in the Daily Times and at the Media Theatre website here.
