COVID-19 statistics for Delaware County were unavailable from the Chester County Health Department for Sunday, Sept. 20.

The latest statistics available from The Pennsylvania Department of Health show 11,104 cases of COVID-19 in Delaware County as of Sunday, Sept. 20..

State statistics do not include a municipal breakdown of COVID-19 cases.

The Chester County Health Department reported 787 COVID-19 related deaths for Delaware County as of Friday, Sept. 18.  Of those, 604 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.

There were 1,895 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania as of Sunday, Sept. 20 since statistics were last reported here Friday, Sept. 18.. Pennsylvania is now listing a total of 150,578

There were 47 new deaths reported statewide as of Sunday, Sept. 20, since statistics were last reported here Friday, Sept. 18. Total deaths are now listed at 7981, according to the  Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Statewide, 1,758,332 people have tested negative for the virus.
