COVID-19 statistics for Delaware County were unavailable from the Chester County Health Department for Friday, July 31.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 13 additional cases of COVID-19 for Delaware County as of noon, July 31, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 8,669.

State statistics do not include a municipal breakdown of COVID-19 cases.

The Chester County Health Department reported 730 COVID-19 related deaths for Delaware County as of Thursday, July 30.  Of those, 576 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department

There were 970 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania as of July 31, for a total of 112,048..

There were 13 additional COVID-19 deaths statewide, for a total of 7,189 deaths reported, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Statewide, 1,042,824 people have tested negative for the virus.
