Two Delaware County bike trails are among the 19 best trails in the Philadelphia area that will provide an exhilarating experience whatever your riding needs, according to the Philadelphia Magazine.

Ridley Creek State Park Trail is ideal for families who are looking to cruise together.

The trail is designated for bicyclists, joggers, and cross-country skiers. It runs for five miles and is paved and flat, making it ideal for leisurely rides.

The park is situated at 1023 Sycamore Mills Road and the trail starting at the intersection of Barren Road and Chapel Hill Road.

Meanwhile, those looking for a quick and easy ride with plenty of shade should head out to Chester Creek Rail Trail.

This tree-lined path allows for fast rides in the warmer months without getting baked by the sun.

The trail runs for 2.8 miles. However it is no longer accessible from the available parking area due to SEPTA construction on Lenni Road, but instead can be accessed from Lungren Road, Mt Alverno Road, and Knowlton Road.
