Harrah’s Casino in Chester to Reopen This Friday After 100-Day Absence

Harrah’s Casino in Chester is wasting no time getting back to business. On the day that Pennsylvania officially declares Delaware County in the green phase of reopening, Friday, June 26, Harrah’s doors will be open to gamblers, reports fox29.com.
“After 100 days of closure, we are thrilled to welcome guests back to Harrah’s Philadelphia.” Said Harrah’s Philadelphia General Manager Chris Albrecht.
Harrah’s Philadelphia is the first southeastern Pennsylvania casino to reopen. Like everything else reopening in the pandemic, there will be restrictions.
Harrah’s will only run at 50 percent capacity and there will be less slot machines operating.
Table play will take place with social distancing rules in place.
Employees and guests will be required to wear masks and temperatures will be taken at the door.
Kiosks will be used for sports wagering. The Poker Room, Sports Book, and Top Golf facilities remain closed for now.
Parx Casino in Bensalem will take slightly more time to reopen. Its doors open to the public on Monday, June 29, at 9 a.m. with strict CDC guidelines in place.
Slot machines and gaming tables will be moved to provide limited seating. Dining and bar options will have limited hours.
