First Resource Bank Named One of the Best Places to Work for Second Straight Year
For the second consecutive year, First Resource Bank has achieved the “Best Places to Work” designation from the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The honor falls on the heels of the bank – which has locations in Exton, West Chester, and Wayne – having received the “Best Bank in Chester County” designation from readers of the Daily Local News for the past three years.
“What makes this award so special is that it’s a true reflection of how our employees feel,” said Lauren Ranalli, President and Chief Financial Officer of First Resource Bank. “As managers, we try to create an environment that is inclusive, empowering, and rewarding. We believe that happy employees create happy customers. To know that our employees love where they work validates the fundamental operating philosophies upon which this bank was founded 15 years ago.”
Eligibility for this designation required companies to provide the Philadelphia Business Journal with the authority to anonymously survey employees about their workplace experience. A minimum response rate of 85 percent was needed for the bank to be considered for the award, and most importantly, favorable responses were key to clinching the award.
In addition to measuring employee engagement, the survey also measured workplace factors, including:
- communication and resources
- individual needs
- manager effectiveness
- personal engagement
- team dynamics
- trust in leadership
While participation in the survey was voluntary, the team at First Resource Bank had an exceptional response, garnering feedback from 48 of its 50 employees.
First Resource Bank was the only bank to receive the award out of the 90 companies that were recently recognized – a clear reflection of its unwavering dedication to deliver the best. Whether it’s banking products, community support, or its workplace, First Resource Bank is committed to providing the best for all of its constituents.
