The Bringing Back Delco Task Force is offering a second round of heavily discounted PPE and sanitation kits for purchase and distribution  to the Delaware County business community.

The PPE and sanitation kits can be ordered on the Bringing Back Delco website, www.BringingBackDelco.com.

They will be available for pickup on either June 22 or 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Broomall Fire Department, 1 N. Malin Road in Broomall.

The PPE kits are $10 each and include 100 masks, 300 gloves, hand sanitizer, 150 wipes and social distancing signage.

The Task Force quickly ran out of the kits during an initial offering as local businesses prepared to reopen under the state’s yellow phase guidelines which began June 5.

The Task Force online supply store has many items in short supply, including the hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, gloves, masks, six-foot floor
markers, and Plexiglas barriers for counters.

The two additional distributions June 22 and 23 were set up due to high demand.

The Bringing Back Delco Task Force, formed by Delaware County Council, the Delaware County Commerce Center, and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce was created in May to support the Delaware County business community to ensure a safe reopening of the local economy.

In addition to PPE, the Task Force has offered webinars to assist business owners with safety guidelines, reopening protocols and plans, and industry-specific information.

The website also includes downloadable flyers and graphics for business owners to display and share with their employees.

A helpline has also been set up for business owners and managers who have questions and need help navigating the CDC and state guidelines and who may need support interpreting the guidance.

Businesses can call: 610-565-3677.

The Task Force will regularly convene to address the concerns of the community, coordinate, and share best practices that are proven to be successful and distribute information that is needed for an effective and safe transition.
