Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Hosts Virtual Annual Luncheon June 17

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second virtual event—its annual membership luncheon on Wednesday, June 17, from noon to 2 p.m.

The event will feature:

  • The 2019-2020 Chamber Year in Review.
  • The 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award.
  • Youth in Excellence Awards.
  • Board and Committee Recognition and more.

Curbside pickup for an at-home lunch prepared at Drexelbrook Catering, 4700 Drexelbrook Drive, Drexel Hill, will take place June 16, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and June 17, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Lunch will feature bruschetta chicken, orzo pasta with vegetables and a summer tart.  Cost is $15.95.

This year’s luncheon will honor in memoriam L. William Kay, owner and founder of  Drexelbrook with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Keynote speaker is Jason Kelce, Center for the Philadelphia Eagles.

At the luncheon, outgoing Chamber Board Chairman Bob Simpson, partner at Brinker, Simpson & Co. will be recognized, along with outgoing board members Jim Brandenburg of Effectv; Jenn Strasinski of Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union; and Sue Smith of Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

There will also be a segment devoted to COVID-19 Good Deeds, with a focus on Youth in Excellence and Business in Excellence.

Virtual sponsorship opportunities are available, from a Gold Level $2,500 sponsorship, to a $1,5000 Silver Level and a $500 Bronze Level.
