Margaret Kuo's at 4-6 W. State St. in Media.

You may not be able to go inside a restaurant to eat right now in Delaware County, but that doesn’t mean there still isn’t great food out there to sample,  writes Craig LaBan for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

To help you find some of the best available take out options, The Philadelphia Inquirer has compiled a list of best eateries for takeout in Delaware County based on its readers’ picks.

Margaret Kuo’s in Media was the suburbs’ pioneer for authentic Chinese cuisine, long offering the best Peking duck in the region as well as the first examples of xiao long bao.

Other takeout highlights include high quality sushi and sashimi, such as the popular black pepper tuna roll and simple tuna avocado roll.

Meanwhile, Gennaro’s Italian Kitchen in Aston offers huge, four-person portions of lasagna or ravioli with sausage for between $36 and $48. The meal also includes salad, garlic bread, and mini cannoli.

The chicken piccata with angel hair pasta and capers is another winning option from the popular eatery.
