Eight Delaware County high schools placed in the top 50 for 2019 Keystone Exam scores in the Philadelphia region, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Students were scored in Algebra I, literature and biology.

Delco schools on the list are (lowest rank to highest rank):

  • Marple Newtown High School, 48th. Scores: 83.8% in literature; 79.9% in biology and 73.3% in Algebra I.
  • Penncrest High School in Rose Tree Media School District, 42nd. Scores: 85.8% in literature; 83.3% in biology and 82.6% in Algebra I.
  • Garnet Valley High School, 31st. Scores: 88.1% in literature; 79.3% in biology and 83.8% in Algebra I.
  • Strath Haven High School in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District, 27th. Scores: 88.9% in literature; 79% in biology and 80.5% in Algebra I.
  • Haverford High School, 22nd. Scores: 90.8% in literature; 84.1% in biology and 92.7% in Algebra I.
  • Springfield High School , 17th. Scores: 92.4% in literature; 86.6% in biology and 83% in Algebra I.
  • Radnor High School, Scores: 92.7% in literature; 88.7% in biology and 91.3% in Algebra I.
  • Unionville High School in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, 5th. Scores: 97.1% in literature; 91.8% in biology and 89.8% in Algebra I.
