U.S. News & World Report Ranks Villanova’s Law School Among Nation’s Top 100

Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law placed 71st in U.S. News & World Report’s annual law school rankings, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

To determine the ranking, U.S. News graded the schools on several factors, including peer assessments, lawyer and judge assessments, LSAT scores, acceptance rates, and student/ faculty ratio.

For specialty areas, Villanova ranked highest in Tax Law at 25th. It also ranked 53rd in Intellectual Property and 61st in Clinical Training. Villanova also ranked 71st in International Law and 98th in Environmental Law.

Widener University Delaware Law School earned high marks in Environmental Law and Health Care Law, ranking 41st and 86th, respectively.
